64 into Eagleville : ... Rained all the way from KFalls to Alturas .. took a little tour over 64 from Likely to Eagleville ... I did not see any snow but there was some up there the day before ... stopped at the cemetery in Cedarville and found the grave site of Lige Langston .. legendary buckaroo and the subject of a great book by Linda Hussa .. "Lige Langston ... Sweet Iron". Then over the pass into Alturas and a couple of shots of the grand old Niles Hotel .... stopped at the Event Center for the "Grand Fiesta" and met up with some of the buckaroos competing in the roping and horsemanship classes on Sat & Sun. Pictured is Bill Black ... great rawhide braider of bosals & romels from Plush, Oregon ... famous buckaroo ... one of the featured stars in the internationally acclaimed film "The Highly Exalted - Buckaroos of Northern Nevada" ... that can now be purchased from http://www.eclectichorseman.com under merchantile - DVDs - documentary ...
